After graduation from Fresno State (CSUF) I went to work for Western Kraft Paper Group/Willamette Industries/ Weyerhaeuser starting as a Supervisor, then General Foreman, Superintendent, Corporate Manufacturing Engineer and ending my last 20 years of a 34 year career as Plant Manager of the Sanger Manufacturing Facility. After retirement I was asked to build another facility which I did and after completion 2 years later Ire tired again. Two weeks later Smurfit Corporation hired as an engineer to help renovate
some of their plants. Ifin ally retired for the third and very last time on July 15,2007.
Volunteered as a chamber Ambassador, Board member, and CEO of the Sanger Chamber. Church trustee, first United Methodist
Church, member Sanger lodge #316 Free & Accepted Masons, member of Eureka Lodge #16 Free & Accepted Masons, member of the Kerman Lions Club, member of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry Karen & I volunteered to be youth chaperones for 19 young people at our church on a trip to Tonga. Member of a Rotary Project in Tonga, Island of Vavau, Lemateua Village to install a solar water system.
Karen and I have been married for 38 years, we have two boys Raymond 34 years old and Justin 32 years old. Ray is a Vice
President for Ferrellgas Corporation, and Justin is a District Manager for Forrest Pharmaceuticals.
Next project is building a retirement home in Sierra County, CA.
